I love all kind of skating. I fall in and out of love for racing, it comes in waves and sometimes I’ll be hungry for racing, and sometimes all I want to do is to just visit random places and explore the cultures of skateboarding and nature, and that’s what I’ll do It creates a good balance that open up new doors in my life. And keeps me stoked!
I started skating in 2009. It was winter time, so we hung out in the garage and skated slalom, and when spring came, It was all downhill from there
With Rayne Since
It’s been a goal and dream for me to join Rayne since the start of this year, and I can gladly say that in the end of this year, 2012, I’m now a Rayne rider Stoked!
I really love the most events where the whole family is gathered! Combining this with a great country and hill makes magic. I’ll have to say that Newton’s nation in Oz and Maryhill Festival of Speed, in the states, has been two of my favorites so far.
Most Important Things In Life (Other than skating)
Life is simple. To understand that everything is always changing and things happen for a reason. To stay positive and have fun!
Time Killer on the Road
Sleeping and just vibing with the moment
Skate and doodle on anything I can find…
Places Traveled, which is your favourite?
I have fallen in love with San Francisco and the Bay area, the vibes, people skating and all the colors are just everything I wished for in a city. I have some of my favorite friends there, and I consider it as home, this also counts for OZ! I know it’s a huge distance between these two, but I just love the vibes. I have a lot of family in Tel Aviv as well, and this city is just so feisty and rad.
Places you’d like to go
I know I must have lived a past life in Brazil, and Im just waiting to go there. I’m saving some time so I can stay for longer once I go and visit. The culture, the vibrancy the sassiness and energy that Brazil has to offer, Man! I can’t wait! But I kind of need to grow some balls first in order to survive over there! haha
Claudio adds more grey hair to the Rayne family than we had ever anticipated growing ourselves. A veteran of the Mexican scene, Claudio has helped bring the gift of skate to communities up and down the coast for a few years now. Unlike Santa however, Claudio can't just get a few reindeer to help him slay hills, so when he's not behind a computer or a camera, he's still on top of his deck taking little trips to fun-ville.
